Below is a notable regulation in Circular 24/2013/TT-BCA issued by the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam, prescribing physical fitness training standards in the People's Public Security forces of Vietnam.
The gender and age groups applicable to individuals in the People's Police force of Vietnam, including officers, non-commissioned officers, and limited-service soldiers; students of academies and schools; and employees of the People's Police force are divided as follows: males aged 18 to 50 and females aged 18 to 45 (based on birth month). They have the right and obligation to undergo physical training according to specific standards as further specified in Article 5 of Circular 24/2013/TT-BCA.

- For males: Running 100 meters; running 1500 meters; standing long jump; push-ups or hanging pull-ups (choose one of the two for assessment).
- For females: Running 100 meters; running 800 meters; standing long jump.
