Guideline on Organizing the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day in the People's Army

According to the provisions of Circular 199/2016/TT-BQP, the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day (March 10 on the Lunar Calendar) is organized in the People's Army as follows:

Years ending in 5, other years:

- The Command of Military Region 2 and the Military Command of Phu Tho Province participate in the incense offering ceremony presided over by the People's Committee of Phu Tho Province.- Units organize activities to propagate and educate about the history and tradition of the Vietnamese people's struggle for and defense of the nation; the policies and guidelines of the Communist Party, and the policies and laws of the State on national unity.- Press agencies and news outlets within the Army organize and report on the event.

Round years:

- Units organize for soldiers to follow the program broadcasted live by Vietnam Television or the Voice of Vietnam of the national incense offering ceremony held in Phu Tho Province.- Other activities are organized as in years ending in 5 and other years.
