Guidance on Handling Complaints and Denunciations Regarding the Selection Results of Judges

This is a noteworthy provision stipulated in Circular 02/2016/TT-TANDTC, which was promulgated by the Supreme People's Court on February 03, 2016.

Accordingly, the resolution of complaints and denunciations is guided by Circular 02 as follows:

- During the organization of the examination, if there is a complaint or denunciation, the Chairman of the Examination Council must review and resolve it within 10 working days from the date of receipt of the complaint or denunciation.- Within 15 days from the date of the exam results announcement, candidates have the right to submit a request for re-evaluation of their exam results to the Examination Council. The Secretariat of the Examination Council will compile and report to the Chairman of the Examination Council to organize the re-evaluation.- Within 30 days from the date of receipt of the re-evaluation request, the Re-evaluation Committee will re-evaluate and report the results to the Chairman of the Examination Council. The re-evaluation results will be compiled into the exam results and notified to the person requesting the re-evaluation.- Only requests for re-evaluation submitted directly or sent via postal mail to the Examination Council (through the Secretariat of the Examination Council) will be considered and resolved. No re-evaluation will be conducted for oral exams or specialized topic defenses.
