Guidance on Calculating Hours for Knowledge Updates in Valuation Appraisal Professional Skills

Circular 11/2019/TT-BTC was signed and issued by the Ministry of Finance to amend and supplement Circular 204/2014/TT-BTC regulating the training and professional development in the field of valuation.

According to the provisions of Circular 11/2019/TT-BTC, the calculation of hours for updating valuation knowledge is as follows:

- The knowledge update on valuation is organized into multiple classes within a year. Each class is organized in a continuous term and must ensure sufficient time, content, and materials. Each knowledge update class has no more than 150 students.- Valuation appraisers attending the knowledge update class on valuation are credited with knowledge update hours at a rate of 1 hour of learning equating to 1 hour of knowledge update. The credited time for knowledge updates is not more than 4 hours per session and not more than 8 hours per day.- Valuation appraisers who teach knowledge update classes to other appraisers are credited with knowledge update hours at a rate of 1 hour of teaching equating to 1.5 hours of knowledge update.
