Below is the content of the regulation on groups of statistical indicators on road traffic infrastructure in developing traffic accident database in Vietnam

To be specific, Article 11 of Circular 26/2024/TT-BCA has prescribed the groups of statistical indicator on road traffic infrastructure in Vietnam as follows:
- Location of the traffic accident: determining km (if the road has km); house number (if there is no km and the house number can be determined); utility pole, traffic sign pole... name of the road; coordinates (longitude, latitude, if there is no km and house number or when there are sufficient conditions for determining coordinates, combining both coordinates and km, house number).
- Road network: expressway, national highway, provincial road, district road, communal road, urban road, specialized road.
- Road passing through: densely populated area, outside densely populated area, rural area, mountainous area, key economic area, and other areas.
- Road infrastructure
+ Road type: one-way road, two-way road, divided road with median strip; maximum allowable speed, minimum allowable speed of the road (if any);
+ Traffic signal: command of the traffic controller; traffic lights, traffic signs, road markings, guard posts or protective walls, barriers; public lighting;
+ Road type: straight, curved, hill pass, tunnel, bridge, ferry, others;
+ Road surface type: concrete, asphalt, earth, stone, others;
+ Lane: road without lane division, road with one lane in the direction of travel, and road with multiple lanes in the direction of travel;
+ Road width: road section, road section in the direction of travel, lane measured in meters (m);
+ Road surface condition: flat, bumpy, dry, wet, slippery, muddy, flooded, under repair, others;
+ Traffic intersection: T-junction, Four-way intersection, Five-way intersection, Six-way or more intersection, roundabout, median strip opening, grade-separated intersection;
+ Condition of the road safety corridor.
- Course of the road traffic accident.
- Cause, conditions occurring of the road traffic accident
+ Due to human: pedestrians; drivers of road vehicles, violating regulations on road traffic rules or regulations on the conditions of the driver participating in traffic; road traffic controllers; managers, users of road vehicles; violators of regulations on ensuring the road traffic safety corridor;
+ Due to road vehicles not ensuring technical safety or expired inspection;
+ Due to damaged road traffic infrastructure or not meeting technical safety standards;
+ Other causes, conditions (if any).

- Number of accidents, number of deaths, number of injured people.
- Road traffic safety coefficients
+ Road traffic safety coefficient compared to 100,000 population (people);
+ Road traffic safety coefficient compared to 10,000 vehicles (cars and motorcycles);
+ Road traffic safety coefficient compared to 1 kilometer (km) of road.
