General Regulations on Training Facilities for Sports Shooting

Circular 31 provides general regulations on the facilities for practicing the sport of shooting as follows:

- There must be a surrounding wall of the shooting range at least 20cm thick and above 3m high;- General lighting must be a minimum of 500 lux, target lighting must be at least 1,500 lux;- There must be a storage area for sports guns and ammunition that meets legal standards;- There must be an area for checking training and competition equipment;- The shooting range must have shooting lanes and target lanes parallel to each other, with a separate pathway from the shooting lane to the target lane, with a safety partition at least 2cm thick and at least 2m high;- The area for spectators must be behind the shooting lane, at least 5m away from the shooting lane;- There must be a logbook tracking the use of sports guns and ammunition;- There must be a logbook tracking participants' training;- There must be a first aid kit according to the Ministry of Health's regulations;- There must be a sign guiding the use of sports guns and a board providing regulations including: citing legal regulations on the responsibilities of trainers, instructors, and related individuals in the use and preservation of sports guns; the subjects allowed to use sports guns for training, training hours, and training attire.

Additionally, Circular 31 also stipulates that participants are to use sports guns according to the regulations of the Law on Management and Use of Weapons, Explosives, and Support Tools.
