According to the regulation on minimum required knowledge content and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from the intermediate and college levels in the household electrical engineering field, which is issued together with Circular 48/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the college-level household electrical engineering major involves professionals who specialize in the installation, operation, maintenance of motors, generators, repair of household electrical systems, household electrical appliances, control and alarm equipment, solar energy systems, and smart home systems that meet technical standards and ensure safety, meeting level 5 requirements in the Vietnamese National Qualifications Framework.
Practitioners in the Household Electrical Engineering field are usually technical staff, design staff at production facilities, agencies, business units in technology, or individuals who organize and own production facilities, repair household electrical and domestic devices.
Jobs in this major are primarily conducted in workshops, factories, production and business companies, with favorable working conditions, ensuring safety - hygiene and economic efficiency; the work intensity is not high, but it is under significant time pressure to serve and meet the diverse satisfaction requirements of customers.
To practice in the field, workers must have good health, good professional ethics, sufficient professional knowledge, and professional skills suitable for the job position.
Additionally, they must regularly learn to improve communication abilities in foreign languages, information technology to expand social knowledge; cultivate carefulness, detail, clarity; build professional consciousness and passion for the profession.
Minimum required knowledge content: 2,500 hours (equivalent to 90 credits).
