The Inspectorate of the Supreme People's Procuracy is a departmental-level unit within the working apparatus of the Supreme People's Procuracy of Vietnam.

On June 10, 2024, the Procurator General of the Supreme People's Procuracy issued Decision 185/ND-VKSTC "Regulations on the organization and operation of the Inspectorate of the Supreme People's Procuracy"
The Inspectorate of the Supreme People's Procuracy is a departmental-level unit within the working apparatus of the Supreme People's Procuracy.
In particular, the Inspectorate of the Supreme People's Procuracy assists the Procurator General of the Supreme People's Procuracy in managing inspection work within the People's Procuracy sector, with the following tasks:
(1) Advising and assisting the Procurator General of the Supreme People's Procuracy in:
- Leading, directing, managing, and implementing inspection work within the People's Procuracy sector;
- Inspecting:
+ Units under the Supreme People's Procuracy; officials and public employees holding leadership and management positions from the department level and below, workers under the Supreme People's Procuracy;
+ The High People's Procuracy; Procurator Generals, Deputy Procurator Generals of the High People's Procuracy;
+ The Provincial People's Procuracy; Procurator Generals, Deputy Procurator Generals of the Provincial People's Procuracy;
+ Other cases as directed by the Procurator General of the Supreme People's Procuracy.
- Resolving complaints and denunciations as stipulated in these Regulations;
- Implementing the regulations of the Communist Party, the State on anti-corruption and negative activities within the People's Procuracy sector; inspecting the implementation of anti-corruption and negative activities within the People's Procuracy sector; coordinating in researching and constructing schemes, documents on anti-corruption and negative activities within the People's Procuracy sector;
- Organizing and implementing regulations of the Communist Party, the State, and the Regulations on the implementation of democracy in the activities of the People's Procuracy.
(2) Receiving, processing, and managing complaints as per the Regulations on receiving, processing, and managing complaints outside the jurisdiction of the Procurator General of the Supreme People's Procuracy.
(3) Monitoring, urging, and inspecting the implementation of inspection conclusions, decisions on resolving complaints, conclusions of denunciation content, and recommendations issued by the Inspectorate of the Supreme People's Procuracy.
(4) Inspecting compliance with internal discipline regarding agencies, units, officials and public employees, and workers under the Supreme People's Procuracy and lower-level People's Procuracies (when necessary).
(5) Monitoring, guiding, and inspecting the inspection profession for the High People's Procuracy and Provincial People's Procuracy.
(6) Performing other tasks as assigned by the Procurator General of the Supreme People's Procuracy.

The working principles of the Inspectorate of the Supreme People's Procuracy of Vietnam include:
- The Inspectorate of the Supreme People's Procuracy operates on the principle of collective leadership with individual responsibilities. All activities of the Inspectorate of the Supreme People's Procuracy must comply with legal regulations and the regulations of the People's Procuracy sector. Officials of the Inspectorate of the Supreme People's Procuracy must perform their tasks and exercise their powers within the prescribed scope.
- Ensuring compliance with the procedures, procedures, and timelines for resolving work as per legal regulations, programs, plans, and working regulations, except in cases of urgency or other requirements from the Leadership of the Supreme People's Procuracy.
- Ensuring the enhancement of the capabilities and strengths of officials, strengthening coordination, and sharing information in resolving tasks within the scope of their legal functions, tasks, and powers.
- Ensuring democracy and transparency in all activities linked to the implementation of administrative and civil service reforms by the Communist Party of Vietnam and the State.
