Recently, the Government of Vietnam issued Decree 125/2006/ND-CP adjusting administrative boundaries and establishing communes and commune-level towns in Ha Quang, Bao Lam, and Ha Lang districts, Cao Bang province in Vietnam.
From November 25, the establishment of Thai Son commune with an area of 5,548 hectares and 2,215 inhabitants in Vietnam (Illustration)
To be specific, Decree 125/2006/ND-CP stipulates the establishment of Thai Son commune within Bao Lam district on the basis of adjusting 5,548 hectares of natural area and 2,215 inhabitants from Thai Hoc commune in Vietnam. To be specific:
- Thai Son commune has 5,548 hectares of natural area and 2,215 inhabitants;
- Administrative boundaries of Thai Son commune: East borders Bao Lac district; West borders Thai Hoc commune, Yen Tho commune; South borders Yen Tho commune; North borders Vinh Phong commune, Mong An commune.
After the adjustment of administrative boundaries in Vietnam:
- Mong An commune retains 5,341 hectares of natural area and 2,960 inhabitants.- Quang Lam commune retains 8,720 hectares of natural area and 6,452 inhabitants.
- Nam Quang commune retains 4,978 hectares of natural area and 2,985 inhabitants.- Thai Hoc commune retains 3,990 hectares of natural area and 2,732 inhabitants.
Bao Lam district has 91,341 hectares of natural area and 47,761 inhabitants, consisting of 14 administrative units including the communes of Mong An, Quang Lam, Thach Lam, Nam Quang, Nam Cao, Thai Hoc, Thai Son, Yen Tho, Vinh Quang, Vinh Phong, Ly Bon, Tan Viet, Duc Hanh, and the commune-level town of Pac Miau.
