This is a noteworthy provision stipulated in Decree 34/2019/ND-CP amending and supplementing several regulations concerning commune-level officials and non-specialized individuals working at the commune level, in villages, and residential groups.
The number of commune-level officials allocated according to the Decision on the classification of administrative units of communes, wards, and commune-level towns, including officials on rotation, secondment, to the commune level, is defined as follows:
- Type 1: Maximum 23 people (current is 25 people);- Type 2: Maximum 21 people (current is 23 people);- Type 3: Maximum 19 people (current is 21 people).
The Provincial and Municipal People's Committees under the Central control decide the allocation of the number of commune-level officials equal to or lower than the above regulations, ensuring the correct titles specified in Article 3 of Decree 92/2009/ND-CP and in line with the actual situation of the locality.
For communes and commune-level towns that appoint a Chief of Police who is a regular police officer, the number of commune-level officials will be reduced by 01 person.
Additionally, the number of non-specialized personnel at the commune level is allocated according to the Decision on the classification of administrative units of communes, wards, and commune-level towns as follows:
- Type 1: Maximum 14 people (current is 22 people);- Type 2: Maximum 12 people (current is 20 people);- Type 3: Maximum 10 people (current is 29 people).
