The noteworthy content specified in Circular 22/2013/TT-BKHCN regarding the management of measurement in gold trading and the quality management of gold jewelry and handicrafts circulated in the market is as follows.
According to Article 7 of Circular 22/2013/TT-BKHCN, the general requirements for labeling jewelry and fine art gold from June 1, 2014, are specified as follows:

- The labeling of jewelry and fine art gold must be carried out in accordance with the provisions of Decree 89/2006/ND-CP on goods labels. The positioning of the labels on jewelry and fine art gold is executed following Article 6 of Decree 89/2006/ND-CP;- Labels on jewelry and fine art gold are directly engraved on the product by mechanical engraving, laser engraving, embossed, lowered, cast in relief, or by other suitable methods (if the size and structure of the product are sufficient for execution) or shown on documents attached to the product;- The purity or gold content, as classified under Article 6 of Circular 22/2013/TT-BKHCN, must be clearly noted in an easily visible position on the product using Arabic numerals to indicate gold content per thousand (1000) parts by weight of the product (e.g., 999 or 916...) or using Arabic numerals with the letter K to show the karat, corresponding with the classification per Article 6 of Circular 22 (e.g., 24K or 22K...). If the product size does not allow direct labeling, the disclosed gold content must be stated on the attached label. For products composed of multiple components with different gold content distinguishable by appearance, the lower gold content must be labelled on the relevant part;- For imported jewelry and fine art gold, in addition to the original label in a foreign language, there must be a secondary label in Vietnamese with the labeling information and the origin of the goods.
