From December 1, 2020, implementation of state budget expenditure for propaganda on disaster management in Vietnam (Illustrated image)

In Article 3 of Circular 85/2020/TT-BTC, units specified in Clause 2, Article 1 of Circular 85/2020/TT-BTC, according to their functions and tasks assigned by competent authorities and within the scope of the state budget estimates allocated, shall implement specific expenditure content as follows:

- Conferences, seminars, and events, activities for the National Week on Disaster management.

- Training, drills, education, and exercises on disaster management for forces participating in disaster prevention and search and rescue activities; developing materials, disseminating, propagating, raising awareness for disaster prevention forces at all levels and the community about laws, knowledge, and skills on disaster prevention.

- Cooperative activities with agencies, organizations, and individuals to enhance the capacity of the disaster prevention system at all levels under the responsibilities of the Central Steering Committee for Natural Disaster management.

- Rewarding individuals and organizations with achievements in disaster prevention and search and rescue work.

- Dissemination, propaganda to raise community awareness about disaster prevention and search and rescue: Producing, editing, broadcasting, releasing, and transmitting journalistic information products, radio, television programs, publications, and other information products (leaflets, posters, banners, slogans, video clips), mobile phone and social network messages, organizing seminars, competitions, selections, photo exhibitions, rallies and other forms, communication products to strengthen information and propaganda on disaster prevention and search and rescue...

- Mobilizing forces, materials, equipment, and means to promptly handle occurring disaster situations.

- Receiving and allocating emergency disaster relief funds.

- Other expenditures for performing disaster prevention and search and rescue tasks according to relevant laws (if any) and as decided by competent authorities as prescribed by the State Budget Law and guiding documents.
