How will the selling prices of petroleum products from October 11, 2022 be adjusted in Vietnam? - Khanh An (Son La, Vietnam)

According to Official Dispatch 6253/BCT-TTTN dated October 11, 2022 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam on petrol and oil business management, from 3 pm on October 11, 2022, gasoline prices increased again by more than 500 VND/liter and oil prices increased by more than 2000 VND/liter in Vietnam.
Specifically, after adjusting the level of setting up and spending for the use of the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund, the selling prices of popular consumer petroleum products on the market after 3 p.m. on October 11, 2022 in Vietnam are regulated as follows:
- E5RON92 gasoline: not higher than 21,292 VND/liter (an increase of 560 VND/liter compared to the current retail price);
- RON95-III gasoline: not higher than 22,007 VND/liter (increasing by 564 VND/liter compared to the current retail price);
- Diesel oil 0.05S: not higher than 24,387 VND/liter (increased by 2,179 VND/liter compared to the current retail price);
- Kerosene: not higher than 22,820 VND/liter (up 1,132 VND/liter compared to the current retail price);
- Fuel oil 180CST 3.5S: not higher than 14,094 VND/kg (same as current retail price).
The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam decided to set up the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund:
- E5RON92 gasoline: 200 VND/liter;
- RON95 gasoline: 400 VND/liter;
- Diesel oil: 0 VND/liter;
- Kerosene: 0 VND/liter;
- Madut oil: 708 VND/kg.
At the same time, spending on using the BOG Petroleum Fund: Expenditure from the BOG Fund for diesel oil is at 200 VND/liter; other petroleum products are not spent.
