Will gasoline prices in Vietnam continue to rise in the price adjustment on January 3, 2023? – Dang Khoa (Gia Lai)
The Ministry of Industry and Trade (Hanoi, Vietnam) issued Official Dispatch 10/BCT-TTTN on January 3, 2023, regarding the management of petroleum business. From 3:00 PM on January 3, 2023, gasoline prices increase by more than 2,000 VND/liter.

To be specific, after adjusting the setting aside and spending levels from the Price Stabilization Fund for petroleum, the retail prices of common petroleum products in the market from 3:00 PM on January 3, 2022, are adjusted as follows:
- E5 RON 92 gasoline: No more than 21,702 VND/liter (an increase of 1,727 VND/liter compared to the current retail price);
- RON 95-III gasoline: No more than 22,554 VND/liter (an increase of 1,847 VND/liter compared to the current retail price);
- Diesel 0.05S: No more than 22,151 VND/liter (an increase of 550 VND/liter compared to the current retail price);
- Kerosene: No more than 22,767 VND/liter (an increase of 931 VND/liter compared to the current retail price);
- Mazut 180CST 3.5S: No more than 13,840 VND/kg (an increase of 977 VND/kg compared to the current retail price).
The Ministry of Industry and Trade decides to allocate for the Price Stabilization Fund for petroleum as follows:
- E5 RON 92 gasoline: 0 VND/liter;
- RON 95 gasoline: 0 VND/liter;
- Diesel: 605 VND/liter;
- Kerosene: 200 VND/liter;
- Mazut: 0 VND/kg.
- E5 RON 92 gasoline: 350 VND/liter;
- RON 95 gasoline: 400 VND/liter;
- Diesel: 0 VND/liter;
- Kerosene: 0 VND/liter;
- Mazut: 100 VND/kg.
