This continues to be one of the notable contents stipulated in the Law on Prevention and Control of Harmful Effects of Alcohol and Beer, which officially took effect on January 1, 2020.

This Law provides detailed regulations on 12 groups of prohibited acts in the prevention and control of alcohol and beer-related harm, with the first mentioned behavior being the incitement, inducement, persuasion, or coercion of others to drink alcohol and beer.
Thus, from January 1, 2020, any act of persuading or coercing others to drink alcohol and beer in any form will be considered a violation of the law on prevention and control of alcohol and beer-related harm.
Additionally, this Law also stipulates some other prohibited acts such as: prohibiting those under 18 years of age from drinking alcohol and beer; prohibiting officials and public employees, officers, students, etc. from drinking alcohol and beer right before, during working hours, study hours, and in breaks between working or study hours; prohibiting the control of vehicles when there is alcohol concentration in the blood or breath;...
Moreover, the Law emphasizes that establishments selling alcohol and beer for on-site consumption must have the responsibility to remind and provide appropriate information to customers about not operating vehicles, supporting customers in renting or using public transportation after drinking alcohol and beer.
