Decree 146/2018/ND-CP was issued by the Government of Vietnam on October 17, 2018, stipulating specific regulations on the documentation for signing health insurance examination and treatment contracts.
Decree 146 stipulates that in the case of signing the initial contract for medical examination and treatment, the dossier includes:
- Official Dispatch requesting contract signing from the medical examination and treatment facility;- Copy of the operating license for medical examination and treatment issued by the competent state authority for the medical examination and treatment facility;- A stamped copy from the facility of the hospital classification decision by the competent authority (if any) or the decision on the technical specialization level by the competent authority for non-public medical examination and treatment facilities;- List of medical technical services, list of drugs, chemicals, and medical supplies approved by the competent authority (in written or electronic form).
For medical examination and treatment facilities approved by the competent authority for additional functions, duties, scope of expertise, hospital classification, the medical examination and treatment facility is responsible for notifying the social insurance agency to supplement the health insurance medical examination and treatment contract. Within 10 working days from the date of receipt of the approval document sent by the medical examination and treatment facility, the social insurance agency is responsible for completing the signing of the supplemental contract appendix or entering into a new contract.
