Fee for Issuance of Environmental Monitoring Activity Certificate in Vietnam

On November 8, 2016, the Ministry of Finance issued Circular 185/2016/TT-BTC stipulating the rates, collection policies, remittance, management, and use of fees for assessing the eligibility to operate environmental monitoring services.

According to Circular 185/2016/TT-BTC, the appraisal fees for issuance, extension, adjustment, and re-issuance of certificates (in cases where the Capacity Profile of the Organization is no longer valid) in Vietnam are determined by the following formula:

Fee Amount = Assessment Cost x K x M

Where:

- Appraisal Cost: 42,000,000 VND.

- K: Geographic location coefficient according to the area of the organization requesting certification, detailed in the Appendix attached to this Circular.

- M: Adjustment coefficient according to the number of environmental parameters requested for certification.

To be specific: detailed appraisal fees are as follows:
