Facilities and Equipment for Table Tennis Training

Accordingly, Circular 05 prescribes the facilities and equipment for table tennis practice as follows:

- The table area must have a roof, be shielded from the wind, and not cause glare. The floor must be flat and non-slip.- The table must be placed in an area with a minimum width of 5 meters and a minimum length of 8 meters.- The table surface should have a uniform bounce of approximately 23 cm when a standard ball is dropped from a height of 30 cm onto the table.- The ball should be spherical with a diameter of 40mm, weighing 2.7g, made of celluloid or similar plastic material, and be white or orange.- The net and net posts must be 15.25cm in height. The distance from the outer edge of the sidelines to the net post should be 15.25cm, the top edge of the net must be consistently 15.25cm high, and the bottom edge of the net should be close to the table surface, with the sides of the net close to the net posts.- Ensure uniform lighting across the table surface and the table area of at least 300 Lux, with lights designed for each table having a minimum height of 4 meters from the table surface.- Ball barriers around the table area should be 75cm high, dark-colored to avoid reflection, and distinguishable from the color of the ball.- There must be a first aid kit as prescribed by the Ministry of Health, a changing area, storage area, and sanitary facilities.- There must be a bulletin board displaying the main regulations, including: practice hours, participants allowed to practice, participants not allowed to practice, and safety measures during practice.
