External Evaluation Process for High Schools in Accordance with Circular 18/2018/TT-BGDDT

External evaluation is the process of inspection and assessment by state management agencies of secondary schools to determine their attainment of evaluation standards as stipulated by the Ministry of Education and Training.

According to the provisions of Articles 26 and 28 of the Regulation on accreditation of educational quality and recognition of national standards for secondary schools, high schools, and multi-level schools issued together with Circular 18/2018/TT-BGDDT, the dossier for external evaluation registration includes:

- Official Dispatch registering for external evaluation, which clearly states the desire for external evaluation of the secondary school to receive recognition for educational quality accreditation or national standard recognition or both educational quality accreditation and national standard recognition.- Self-assessment report: 02 copies.

The external evaluation process for a secondary school includes the following steps:

First, study the evaluation dossier.

Second, conduct a preliminary survey at the secondary school.

Third, conduct an official survey at the secondary school.

Fourth, draft the external evaluation report.

Fifth, collect feedback from the secondary school about the draft external evaluation report.

Sixth, complete the external evaluation report.
