Circular 21/2018/TT-BTC was promulgated by the Ministry of Finance on February 12, 2018, stipulating in detail the expenditure levels for organizing the reception of international delegations and guests attending APhO 2018.
According to Circular 21, the expenditure levels for organizing the reception of delegations, international guests attending APhO 2018, and members of the Asian Physics Olympiad Committee at the Committee's meetings in Hanoi in 2018 are as follows:
Reception expenditures for delegations and international guests will be carried out in accordance with the regulations on expenditure policies for receiving foreign guests working in Vietnam, organizing international conferences and seminars in Vietnam, and expenditures for domestic receptions; specifically as follows:
- For international guests, including the delegation leader, deputy delegation leader, and observers: The maximum allowance for meals and accommodation shall not exceed 2,800,000 VND/person/day for the delegation leader; not exceed 2,100,000 VND/person/day for deputy delegation leaders and observers (who have paid the fee) during the time of APhO 2018.- For contestants participating in the competition: The maximum allowance for meals and accommodation shall not exceed 900,000 VND/person/day during the competition period.- Expenses for organizing three banquet events (one for the opening ceremony, one after the competition, and one after the Olympic closing) according to APhO competition tradition: The maximum expenditure shall not exceed 1,200,000 VND/person for three banquets.
The above-mentioned payment contents are calculated based on the actual number of people and days of meals and accommodation during the time of APhO 2018, with a maximum not exceeding the total scale and duration of APhO 2018 as approved by the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam.
At the same time, Circular 21 also stipulates the expenditure levels for organizing the meeting of the Asian Physics Olympiad Committee at the Committee’s meeting in Hanoi in 2018. This will be implemented according to the regulations on expenditure policies for receiving foreign guests working in Vietnam, organizing international conferences and seminars in Vietnam, and expenditures for domestic receptions.
