Expanding the Target Audience for Appraisal Professional Training

At the beginning of 2019, the Ministry of Finance issued Circular 11/2019/TT-BTC to amend and supplement Circular 204/2014/TT-BTC regarding the training and professional development in the valuation sector.

According to the new regulations, professional knowledge training on appraisal (updating knowledge on appraisal) applies to the following subjects:

- Practicing price appraisers;- Persons holding a Price Appraiser Card but not registering for practice within 12 months from the date of issuance of the Price Appraiser Card;- Price appraisers who have ceased practicing registration for more than 12 months until the date of the next practice registration;- Other individuals with demands.

According to Circular 11/2019/TT-BTC, appraisers must update their knowledge for a minimum of 20 hours/year. The updated knowledge time of the preceding year is a condition for considering practice registration for the following year.
