Circular 17/2018/TT-BGDDT was issued on August 22, 2018. Enclosed with this Circular are Regulations on the quality assessment and accreditation of primary schools and recognition of national standards, highlighting the provisions on the evaluation levels for primary schools.
To be specific:, according to the provisions of Article 6 of the Regulations on quality accreditation and national standard recognition for primary schools issued together with Circular 17/2018/TT-BGDDT, primary schools are assessed according to the following levels:
Level 1: Meets the requirements in Section 1 of Chapter II of the Regulation.
Level 2: Meets the requirements in Section 2 of Chapter II of the Regulation.
Level 3: Meets the requirements in Section 3 of Chapter II of the Regulation.
Level 4: Meets the requirements in Section 4 of Chapter II of the Regulation.
The evaluation criteria for recognizing primary schools are met when all indicators in the criterion meet the requirements. An indicator is recognized as met when all the contents of the indicator meet the requirements.
Primary school evaluation standards are requirements for primary schools aimed at ensuring the quality of activities. Each standard corresponds to an area of activity of the primary school; each standard contains criteria.
The primary school evaluation standards have 4 levels (from Level 1 to Level 4) with increasing requirements. The subsequent level includes all the requirements of the preceding level and adds advanced requirements.
Primary school evaluation criteria are requirements for primary schools in a specific content of each standard. Each criterion has indicators.
