Estimate of Methadone under the Management of the Focal Agency according to Which Procedure?

The process of creating, approving, and distributing Methadone forecasts under the management authority of the Coordinating Agency is stipulated in Article 5 Circular 14/2015/BYT, specifically as follows:

Step 1: Before January 5, April 5, July 5, and October 5 each year or in urgent cases, the Methadone treatment facility prepares a forecast of the Methadone medication usage demand according to Form No. 2 of Appendix 1 issued with this Circular, including the medication needs of patients at Methadone dispensing facilities under the management authority of the Methadone treatment facility and sends it to the Coordinating Agency before the 5th of the forecasting month.

Step 2: Before the 10th of the forecasting month, the Coordinating Agency approves the forecasted Methadone medication usage demand for Methadone treatment facilities and Methadone dispensing facilities under the Ministry's and industry's management according to Form No. 3 of Appendix 1 issued with this Circular. The forecast is prepared in 03 copies: 01 copy sent to the distribution unit, 01 copy sent to the Methadone treatment facility, and 01 copy kept at the Coordinating Agency approving the forecast.

Step 3: Based on the approved forecast of Methadone medication usage demand, the distribution unit is responsible for:

- Agreeing with the Methadone treatment facility on the specific quantity and delivery time. Delivery must be made before the 30th of the forecasting month;- Reporting the specific quantity and delivery time to the Coordinating Agency.
