Establishment of the List of Residential Place Names in Tien Giang Province

Circular 18 stipulates the list of residential, topographical, hydrological, and socio-economic locations serving the work of establishing land maps for Tien Giang Province, arranged in alphabetical order according to the Vietnamese language for each group of geographic objects, including: residential, socio-economic, hydrological, topographical; commune-level administrative units, including: commune-level towns, communes, and district-level administrative units, including: cities, district-level towns, and districts. In which:

- The column “Location name” consists of standardized names of locations.- The column “Group category” signifies the location groups, wherein: DC denotes residential location group; SV denotes topographical location group; TV denotes hydrological location group; KX denotes socio-economic location group.- The column “Commune-level administrative unit name” contains names of commune-level administrative units, wherein: “P.” is the abbreviation for “ward”; “TT.” is the abbreviation for “commune-level town”; “X.” is the abbreviation for “commune”.- The column “District-level administrative unit name” contains names of district-level administrative units, wherein: “TP.” is the abbreviation for “city”; “H.” is the abbreviation for “district”; “TX.” is the abbreviation for “district-level town”.- The column “Relative position coordinates of the object” represents the relative position coordinates of the geographic object corresponding to the location name in the column “Location name”; if the geographic object is represented on the map by a point or area symbol, the coordinate value corresponds to the column “Central coordinates”; if the geographic object is represented on the map by a line symbol, the coordinate value corresponds to the two columns “Starting point coordinates” and “Ending point coordinates”.- The column “Topographic map sheet number” represents the sheet symbols of the 1:25,000 scale topographic map containing the standardized location names in the column “Location name”.
