Establishment of An Hao Tay and An Hao Dong Communes, Hoai An District, Binh Dinh Province in Vietnam on May 6, 2007

April 11, 2007, the Government of Vietnam issued Decree 137/2007/ND-CP regarding the adjustment of administrative boundaries of communes; the establishment of communes and commune-level towns in Hoai An District, An Lao District, Binh Dinh Province in Vietnam.

Decree 137/2007/ND-CP adjusts the administrative boundaries of An Hao communes to establish An Hao Dong Commune and An Hao Tay Commune under Hoai An District, Binh Dinh Province in Vietnam as follows:

1. Establishment of An Hao Tay Commune under Hoai An District by adjusting 2,992.74 hectares of natural area and 4,464 people of An Hao Commune.

An Hao Tay Commune has 2,992.74 hectares of natural area and 4,464 people.

Administrative boundaries of An Hao Tay Commune: East borders An Hao Dong Commune, Hoai An District; West borders An Nghia Commune, An Lao District and An Son Commune, Hoai An District; South borders An Tin Commune, Hoai An District; North borders An Hoa Commune, An Lao District.

2. Establishment of An Hao Dong Commune under Hoai An District on the basis of 3,308.26 hectares of natural area and 8,188 people remaining from An Hao Commune.

An Hao Dong Commune has 3,308.26 hectares of natural area and 8,188 people.

Administrative boundaries of An Hao Dong Commune: East borders Hoai Hao Commune and Hoai Phu Commune, Hoai Nhon District; West borders An Hao Tay Commune, Hoai An District; South borders An Tin Commune and An My Commune, Hoai An District; North borders An Hoa Commune, An Lao District.

After the adjustment of administrative boundaries: Hoai An District has 15 affiliated administrative units, including the communes: An Son, Dac Mang, Bok Toi, An My, An Tin, An Tuong Dong, An Tuong Tay, An Nghia, An Duc, An Huu, An Thanh, An Phong, An Hao Dong, An Hao Tay and commune-level town Tang Bat Ho.
