Ensuring Infrastructure for the Training Program for Public Employees in the Culture, Sports, and Tourism Sector

Recently, Circular 11/2019/TT-BVHTTDL was issued by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to stipulate the conditions for training and research institutions to organize and implement professional development programs for public employees in the fields of culture, sports, and tourism.

the academies, research institutes, universities, colleges, and intermediate schools that offer training in culture, sports, and tourism must ensure adequate physical facilities and practical facilities when conducting training programs for public employees in the culture, sports, and tourism sectors, as specified in Article 6 of Circular 11/2019/TT-BVHTTDL as follows:

- Sufficient classrooms, function rooms, and necessary equipment to meet the requirements of theoretical teaching and practical skills training in the culture, sports, and tourism sectors.- Adequate information resources, including: books, textbooks, lectures, and related documents to serve the training of public employees in the culture, sports, and tourism sectors.- An electronic information portal that provides and updates information on the list of lecturers, document lists for each training program, and a database system to store information about courses and learners.

Along with that, this Circular stipulates that the training and research institutions assigned the task of training are responsible for:

- Compiling or selecting training materials for public employees in the culture, sports, and tourism sectors in line with the training programs issued by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and suitable for each training subject; providing reference materials for teaching and learning.- Developing plans and organizing training for public employees in the culture, sports, and tourism sectors for each target group in accordance with the law.- Deciding on the list of students admitted, managing the learning process, assessing learning outcomes, and recognizing the learning outcomes of students in accordance with the law.
