Resolution 02/2008/NQ-HDND stipulates the socio-economic tasks for the year 2009 of the People's Council of Phu Nhuan District in Vietnam as follows:

- Industrial and handicraft production to increase by more than 9%; service and trade sectors to achieve growth value of more than 30% compared to the same period.

- Agreement with the report on budget implementation in 2008 and the budget estimates for 2009 presented by the People's Committee of the district at the session,…

- Focus on implementing the solutions set out in the economic sector development planning in the district up to 2010, with orientations to 2020; overall socio-economic development planning for the period 2010-2025…

- Continue implementing the collective economy development plan until 2010; focus on consolidating and improving the efficiency of cooperative operations; implement plans for linking, merging, merging some cooperatives.

- Focus on developing the distribution system and goods supply network, especially essential consumer goods; put into operation the Rach Mieu market-supermarket complex; encourage investment in breakthrough service sectors.

- Strengthen post-inspection work; actively support businesses to operate in accordance with the law in Vietnam and resolutely deal with acts of commercial fraud.
