Duties of Disaster Prevention and Control in the Field of Road Transport

Circular 03/2019/TT-BGTVT has been enacted and signed by the Ministry of Transport, stipulating the work of prevention, response, and recovery from natural disasters in the field of road transportation.

- Leaders and specialists assisting the Command Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue of the Ministry of Transport;- Leaders and specialists assisting the Command Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue of the Vietnam Road Administration.

Also according to Circular 03/2019/TT-BGTVT, individuals on duty and those mobilized to participate in disaster prevention, control, and recovery activities are entitled to the following policies:

- Individuals on duty and those mobilized to participate in disaster prevention, control, and recovery activities are entitled to policies on duty allowances, overtime pay.- Individuals with the authority to mobilize human resources, materials, means, and equipment of organizations and individuals under their management are responsible for paying costs from the state budget to organizations and individuals participating in disaster response and search and rescue activities or for compensating for damages to mobilized organizations and individuals.
