Duties by Job Title of Aviation Employees

According to the guidance outlined in Circular 10/2018/TT-BGTVT, aviation employees have duties according to their titles as follows:

1. Aviation security screening staff performs the duties of checking, screening, security surveillance, maintaining order, patrolling, and guarding the airport, the airfield, and other facilities as per the provisions of specialized legal documents on aviation security.

2. Staff controlling and operating aviation equipment and vehicles in restricted areas of the airport, the airfield are responsible for operating aviation equipment and vehicles in these restricted areas in accordance with the specialized legal documents on airport and airfield management and operation.

3. Ground service staff for flights perform duties of supervising ground services for flights; checking and processing passenger, baggage, and cargo transportation procedures at the airport, the airfield; aircraft load balancing; checking dangerous goods before loading onto the aircraft; cleaning the aircraft; guiding loading; loading and unloading baggage and cargo onto and off aircraft.

4. Rescue and firefighting staff at the airport, the airfield perform rescue and firefighting duties in the event of incidents or accidents at the airport, the airfield.

5. The aviation staff titles stipulated in Clauses 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 of Article 6 of Circular 10/2018/TT-BGTVT perform duties according to the provisions of specialized legal documents on aircraft, aircraft operation, management, and ensuring flight operations.
