Duties and powers of the Nursing and Rehabilitation Center under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Vietnam (Internet image) 

On March 13, 2024, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment issued Decision 629/QD-BTNMT regulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Location and functions of the Nursing and Rehabilitation Center under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Vietnam

- Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is a medical service unit under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, performing the functions of nursing and labor rehabilitation for officials, public employees, and workers of units under the Ministry.

- The Center has legal status, is a level III budgeting unit, and has its own seal and account; It is headquartered in Sam Son City, Thanh Hoa province.

Duties and powers of the Nursing and Rehabilitation Center under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Vietnam

- Develop and submit to the Minister programs, projects, 5-year, 3-year, and annual operating plans of the Center and organize implementation after approval.

- Organize medical examinations, nursing, health rehabilitation, and labor functions for officials, public employees, and workers of units under the Ministry.

- Coordinate to organize periodic health checks for officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers of units under the Ministry; students at schools under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.

- Organize and implement the National target program for malaria control within the scope of the Ministry.

- Research, propose the development, and organize the implementation of regulations on health, health care, and occupational diseases for civil servants, public employees, and workers in the natural resources and environment sector.

- Carry out assessment and monitoring of risk factors and disease prevention, protecting the health of workers in the natural resources and environment industry according to the provisions of law.

- Carry out service activities in accordance with the functions, tasks, powers of the Center and other services according to the provisions of law.

- Implement administrative reform according to the Ministry's administrative reform program and plan.

- Manage organizations, officials, employees, finances, and assets under the Center according to the Ministry's decentralization; carry out the responsibilities of a level III budgeting unit according to the provisions of law.

- Conduct statistics and periodic and extraordinary reports on task performance.

- Perform other tasks assigned by the Minister.

Organizational structure of the Nursing and Rehabilitation Center under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Vietnam

(1) Center Leaders:

- Leadership of the Nursing and Rehabilitation Center has a Director and no more than 03 Deputy Directors;

- The Director of the Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is responsible to the Minister for assigned tasks and is responsible before the law for all activities of the Center; regulating the functions and tasks of organizations under the Center; promulgating working regulations; and managing the Center's activities;

- Deputy Director of the Nursing and Rehabilitation Center assists the Director and is responsible before the Director and before the law for the assigned field of work.

(2) Organizations under the Center:

- Nursing Department;

- Rehabilitation Clinic;

- Organization and Administration;

- Financial Accounting.
