Certification of telecommunications equipment and radio stations is the process of appraisal and issuance of the Certificate of Conformity for telecommunications equipment and radio stations in accordance with national technical standards (hereinafter referred to as the Conformity Certificate).

Circular 07/2020/TT-BTTTT provides guidance on the dossier for assessment and issuance of the Inspection Certificate for telecommunications equipment and radio stations, including:
- Application form for inspection as prescribed in Annex No. 01;- Testing results prepared by the testing unit specified in Article 4 of this Circular;- Documents describing and guiding the use of telecommunications equipment and radio stations (in case of first-time inspection).
This Circular also specifies the procedure for assessing and issuing the Inspection Certificate for telecommunications equipment and radio stations as follows:
- Within five (05) working days from the date the organization or enterprise submits a complete and valid dossier as stipulated in Clause 1 of this Article, the inspection organization must notify the organization or enterprise in writing of the receipt of the dossier as stipulated in Clause 1 of this Article and notify the assessment fee for the operational conditions of telecommunications equipment and radio stations (hereinafter referred to as the assessment fee).
- Within thirty (30) days from the date the organization or enterprise pays the assessment fee as stipulated in Article 9 of Circular 07/2020/TT-BTTTT, the inspection organization shall carry out the assessment and issue the Inspection Certificate.
- In case of non-conformities during the assessment process, the inspection organization is responsible for informing the organization or enterprise in writing, specifying the non-conformities. Within twenty (20) days from the date of the notification from the inspection organization, the organization or enterprise must rectify the non-conformities and resubmit the dossier to the inspection organization for continued assessment and issuance of the Inspection Certificate within ten (10) days. If the corrective dossier is not submitted within the stipulated time, the inspection organization has the right to refuse further assessment, is not required to refund the assessment fee, and must notify the organization or enterprise in writing.
- Within thirty (30) days from the date the telecommunications equipment or radio station is issued the Inspection Certificate, the organization or enterprise must post a copy of the Inspection Certificate in a visible position outside the telecommunications equipment or radio station facility.
Dossier submission points: Directly at the headquarters of the inspection organization, through postal services to the inspection organization, or online through public service portals.
