This is one of the basic contents stipulated in Circular 52/2017/TT-BGTVT on regulations for the maintenance of maritime works, issued on December 29, 2017. To be specific::
1. Documents for maritime maintenance include:
- Decision on investment project approval for maritime construction and Feasibility Study Report or Technical - Economic Report on construction investment;- Survey tasks, survey result report on maritime construction;- Construction drawing design documents confirmed by the investor (with a list of drawings attached) and design changes during construction;- As-built drawings (with a list of drawings attached);- Monitoring results, measurements, quality inspection of the construction, load-bearing capacity tests of the construction structure (if any) during construction, a list of equipment, spare parts, replacement materials, and other relevant documents;- Equipment history installed in the maritime construction;- Operation procedure, construction exploitation; maritime construction maintenance procedure;- Documents on incident resolution (if any);- Acceptance minutes of completion of construction items, completed construction works for investor usage;- Notice of acceptance results of completed construction items, construction works by specialized construction agencies.
2. The investor is responsible for handing over the documents supporting the maritime construction maintenance to the owner or the manager, operator, user before the handover of the work for exploitation and use.
3. The investor, owner or manager, operator, user is responsible for keeping the records and documents supporting the maintenance work and promptly supplementing any changes in the maritime construction.
Circular 52/2017/TT-BGTVT takes effect from March 1, 2018.
