The dissolution of Phuoc Thang Commune and the adjustment of its natural area and population are as follows:

- Adjust 2,591.8 ha of the natural area of Phuoc Thang Commune (dissolved) to Phuoc Thanh Commune for management;

- Adjust 5,580.27 ha of the natural area of Phuoc Thang Commune (dissolved) to Phuoc Dai Commune for management;

- The entire 3,149 population of Phuoc Thang Commune (dissolved) is adjusted to establish the new Phuoc Thang Commune.

Adjustment of the administrative boundaries of Phuoc Dai Commune: Adjust 13.1 ha of the natural area of Phuoc Dai Commune to Phuoc Thanh Commune for management.

After the adjustment of administrative boundaries:

- Phuoc Thanh Commune has 12,690.47 ha of natural area and 2,601 population;

- Phuoc Dai Commune has 11,341.26 ha of natural area and 2,925 population.
