Directors of the District-level Public vocational education centers in Vietnam must perform the following 08 tasks (Illustrative image)
Specifically, Circular 05/2020/TT-BLDTBXH stipulates that the Directors of District-level Public vocational education centers are the head of the Center, representing the Center before the law, responsible for managing activities and operating the organization and apparatus of the Center, with the following 08 tasks:
- Develop and implement the Center's training and development plans;
- Manage the Center's infrastructure, assets, and finances, and organize efficient exploitation and use of mobilized resources to serve vocational education activities in accordance with the law. Formulate regulations on the quantity, labor structure, job positions, recruitment, management, usage, and development of the teaching staff, management officers, and laborers as prescribed by law in Vietnam;
- Manage finances, make decisions on income and expenditures, and distribute the results of labor, technical practice, and service according to regulations in Vietnam;
- Continuously improve working, teaching, and learning conditions for teachers, management officers, laborers, and students;
- Organize and direct the construction of a healthy training environment; ensure political security and social order in the Center;
- Implement the democratic regulations within the Center; enforce State policies towards teachers, management officers, laborers, and students in the Center. Annually, organize evaluations and classifications of teachers, management officers, and laborers;
- Fully and promptly implement periodic and ad-hoc reporting policies as required by law;
- Perform other tasks as prescribed by law in Vietnam.
