Circular 28/2017/TT-BGDDT on regulations regarding standards, conditions, content, and forms of promotion evaluation for the professional title of public preschool and general education teachers was promulgated on November 30, 2017. Notably, this document stipulates the identification of individuals eligible for professional title promotion and the announcement of results.
To be specific: In accordance with the guidelines provided in Article 8 of Circular 28/2017/TT-BGDDT, individuals eligible for promotion in professional titles in the consideration period must meet the following conditions:
- Have sufficient dossiers accompanied by evidence as prescribed;- For dossier assessment cases: The result of the assessment must be scored 100 points or more. Among which, each group of criteria must meet the minimum score as prescribed in points a, b, and c of Clause 2, Article 6 of Circular 28/2017/TT-BGDDT.
For cases of dossier assessment and examination: The result of the assessment must be scored 100 points or more (among which, each group of criteria must meet the minimum score as prescribed in points a, b, and c of Clause 2, Article 6 of Circular 28/2017/TT-BGDDT) and the examination score must be at least 10 points.
The result of professional title promotion consideration for preschool, elementary, secondary, and preparatory university teachers shall be notified to the individuals and units participating in the consideration process no later than 15 working days from the date of completing the promotion consideration.
Teachers who are not promoted in the professional title promotion consideration period as regulated above are not allowed to retain the results for the next promotion consideration period.
