Decree 89/2014/ND-CP sets the conversion rates for music awards to Gold Medals as follows:

- Using the Gold Medal from the National Professional Art Festival as the standard.

- Only considering the conversion of Gold Medals, First Prizes, A Prizes, and Gold Cups from national or international professional performing arts Festivals, Competitions, and Contests.

- Other awards from national, ministerial, and international (regional and global) professional performing arts Festivals, Competitions, and Contests will be considered by the Council based on their nature, scale, and significance in specific cases.
