Determining 05 Forms of Commendation in the Banking Sector

This is the content stipulated in Circular 17/2019/TT-NHNN issued by the State Bank of Vietnam guiding the emulation and commendation work of the banking sector.

Article 16 of Circular 17/2019/TT-NHNN stipulates 05 forms of commendation in the Banking sector. To be specific:

- Commendation based on merits and achievements is a form of commendation for collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements or excellently fulfilling assigned tasks, contributing to the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland.- Thematic (or periodic) commendation is a commendation for collectives and individuals who achieve outstanding achievements after the end of an emulation period initiated by the President, Prime Minister, Governor, or Heads of agencies and units in the Banking sector.- Sudden commendation is a commendation for collectives and individuals who achieve unexpected feats in labor, production, or combat service; bravery in rescuing people and property of the populace or the State (unexpected feats are achievements attained in unforeseen circumstances, occurring beyond planned programs or duties that the collective or individual must undertake).- Commendation for contributions is a commendation for individuals who have participated in revolutionary activities during various periods, held leadership and management positions in State agencies, public service providers, political organizations, or socio-political organizations, with significant contributions and outstanding achievements in the revolutionary cause of the Communist Party and the nation.- Foreign commendation is a commendation for foreign collectives and individuals who have contributed to the building and protecting of the Vietnamese Fatherland in the economic field.
