Determination of the Time for Receiving Commendation Application Dossiers in the Banking Sector

To be specific, the timeline for receiving commendation application dossiers for annual recognition, sudden recognition, specialized recognition, and recognition for contributions in the banking sector is detailed in Article 30 of Circular 17/2019/TT-NHNN as follows:

1. Annual Recognition

   - For awards and commendations under the authority of the Governor: applications must be received before February 28 every year. For the education sector, applications must be received before August 15 every year; for "For the cause of Vietnam's Banking Sector" medals, applications must be received before February 28 every year.

   - For national-level awards and commendations:

    - "Emulation flag of the Government of Vietnam": applications must be received before February 28 every year; - "National Emulation Soldier", "Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam", various medals and orders of different types and classes: applications must be received before March 15 every year; - Education sector: applications must be received before August 15 every year; - "Hero of Labor": considered every 5 years during the national emulation congress, except for special sudden exceptional performances; - "People's Teacher", "Meritorious Teacher", "Ho Chi Minh Award", "State Award": follow the regulations of the competent State authorities.

   - For awards and commendations under the authority of the Heads of the units: the Heads of the units will stipulate.

2. Sudden Recognition: applications should be submitted immediately after the agency or individual has achieved sudden performance.

3. Specialized Recognition: applications should be submitted immediately after the end of the program or thematic work.

4. Recognition for Contributions: applications should be submitted 6 months prior for retirees. For already retired officials, applications should be submitted before March 15 every year.

For cases requesting recognition according to the standards at Point d, Clause 1, Article 18 of this Circular: applications should be submitted no later than 6 months before the retirement date. For already retired officials, applications should be submitted before March 15 every year.
