Details on the Waters of the Seaport Area in Van Phong Bay Region

On June 12, 2019, the Ministry of Transport issued Circular 20/2019/TT-BGTVT announcing the water areas of the seaports within the territory of Khanh Hoa province, the water areas of Ninh Thuan seaport at Phan Rang Bay, and the management area of Nha Trang Maritime Administration.

Circular 20/2019/TT-BGTVT has promulgated the scope of the maritime area of Khanh Hoa port in the Van Phong Bay area. To be specific:

- Sea boundary: defined by straight lines sequentially connecting points VP1, VP2, and VP3 with the following coordinates:- VP1: 12°33'36.0"N, 109°26'00.0"E (Mui Ganh - southern tip of Hon Gom Peninsula);- VP2: 12°28'00.0"N, 109°26'00.0"E;- VP3: 12°24'00.0"N, 109°20'30.0"E (Mui Ban Thang).- Land boundary: from point VP1 (Mui Ganh) running along the western shoreline of Hon Gom Peninsula northwards through Mui Co Co, Mui Da Son, and along the shoreline to the northernmost point of Ben Goi Bay, following the shoreline of communes in Van Ninh district through Mui Hon Giang, Mui Hon Khoi to point VP3 (Mui Ban Thang).
