Details of the Composition of Veterinary Councils at All Levels

depending on the level of the Council, the composition of the Council will vary, specifically:

For the Central Veterinary Council:

- Chairman of the Council: Director of the Department of Animal Health;- Vice Chairman of the Council: President of the Vietnam Veterinary Association and Director of the National Veterinary Institute;- The Council Members must have relevant professional qualifications and experience, representing the leadership of the following agencies and organizations: Veterinary management agencies, livestock, aquaculture; associations, universities, research institutes, experts, and scientists in the field of veterinary medicine, livestock, aquaculture;- Secretary of the Council: Department heads of specialized departments under the Department of Animal Health;- The standing body of the Council is the Department of Animal Health.

For the Provincial Veterinary Council:

- Chairman of the Council: Head of the Sub-Department with veterinary management functions at the provincial level;- Vice Chairman of the Council: Representative leaders of associations, universities, or research institutes in the field of veterinary medicine, livestock, aquaculture;- The Council Members must have relevant professional qualifications and experience, representing the leadership of the following agencies and organizations: Veterinary, aquaculture management agencies, associations, universities, research institutes, experts, and scientists in the field of veterinary medicine, aquaculture;- Secretary of the Council: Leaders of specialized departments of the provincial veterinary management agency;- The standing body of the Council is the provincial veterinary management agency.
