Details of Job Titles for Public Employees in Specialized Fields under the Management of 13 Ministries

Details on Public Employee Professional Titles in 13 Managing Ministries (Illustrative Image)

According to Article 64 of Decree 115/2020/ND-CP, the ministries that manage public employee professional titles, in addition to the duties and powers stipulated in Article 63 of this Decree, also have the following duties and powers:

- Define in detail the content, program, form, and duration of training as per the standards of public employee professional titles.

- Preside, cooperate with the Ministry of Home Affairs and relevant agencies to formulate special policies for public employees in the sector, field to submit to the Government of Vietnam, and the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam.

- Specify codes, standards for professional titles, and salary arrangement for public employee professional titles in the managed sectors and fields after obtaining consensus from the Ministry of Home Affairs;

- Organize examinations or assessments for promotion to rank I professional titles.

Specifically, the 13 ministries managing public employee professional titles include:

1. The Ministry of Home Affairs manages professional titles in archival fields;
2. The Ministry of Justice manages professional titles in judicial fields;
3. The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development manages professional titles in agriculture, forestry, irrigation, fisheries sectors;
4. The Ministry of Construction manages professional titles in appraiser and architect fields;
5. The Ministry of Science and Technology manages professional titles in science, technology fields;
6. The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment manages professional titles in natural resources, environment, meteorology, hydrology, surveying, mapping, marine, and island sectors;
7. The Ministry of Education and Training manages professional titles in education, training fields;
8. The Ministry of Health manages professional titles in medical, pharmaceutical, and population sectors;
9. The Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs manages professional titles in labor and social affairs, vocational education sectors;
10. The Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism manages professional titles in culture, arts, physical training, sports, and tourism sectors;
11. The Ministry of Information and Communications manages professional titles in information and communication fields;
12. The Ministry of Transport manages professional titles in transport fields;
13. The Ministry of Finance manages professional titles in accounting sectors.
