Details of Categories and Forms of Supervision for Mineral Exploration Projects

This is an important content stipulated in Circular 44/2016/TT-BTNMT regulating the content of supervising the implementation of the mineral exploration scheme.

According to Circular 44/2016/TT-BTNMT, the items and forms of monitoring the implementation of the mineral exploration project are stipulated as follows:

- For the item of direct supervision work:- Construction work: pits, trenches, wells, tunnels, drilling (geological drilling, hydrogeological - geological engineering drilling), karota measurement, experimental water pumping;- Sample collection technology; experimental extraction pit; sample collection in construction works; sample processing (for samples processed in the field).

- For the item of indirect supervision work: results of surveying, geological mapping, geophysical surveys, hydrogeological surveys, engineering geology, sample collection, processing, and analysis of various samples.

- The competent state management authority specified in Clauses 1 and 2, Article 15 Decree 203/2013/ND-CP decides the form of direct or indirect supervision.

Circular 44/2016/TT-BTNMT took effect from February 10, 2017.
