Regarding this issue, LawNet would like to answer as follows:
On February 20, 2024, the Minister of Information and Communications issued Decision 184/QD-BTTTT promulgating the 2024 Action Plan to implement the Basic Information Sector Development Strategy for the period 2021–2025.
The purposes and requirements for the plan to implement the Basic Information Sector Development Strategy for the period 2021–2025 are as follows:
- Purpose:
+ Clearly identify goals and tasks that need to be focused on implementation in 2024 according to Decision 1381/QD-BTTTT dated September 7, 2021, of the Minister of Information and Communications promulgating the Strategy for developing the basic information sector for the period 2021–2025.
+ Organize and implement the tasks stated in the plan to promote strong argument transformation and develop a modern basic information network in 2024 and the period 2024–2025 to meet the requirements of providing and promptly disseminating essential information to the people; effectively serve the direction and administration of the Party Committee and local authorities.
- Request:
+ Identify key tasks, key points, and an implementation roadmap; focus resources on implementation, ensuring feasibility and effectiveness.
+ Assign responsibilities to perform according to functions and tasks; ensure close, effective, and timely coordination between central and local agencies and units in implementing tasks.
In addition, Decision 184/QD-BTTTT in 2024 also stipulates the targets of this strategy by year as follows:
