Decree 99: 08 Contents of inspection of the implementation of planning in Vietnam (Illustrative image)

Decree 99/2006/ND-CP prescribes the contents of inspection of the implementation of planning in Vietnam:

- Planning implementation schedule;

- Results and progress in implementing key investment programs and projects;

- Results and progress in achieving the main objectives and products of the planning;

- Results and progress in implementing solutions and mechanisms to achieve planning goals;

- Violations and weaknesses in planning implementation;

- Planning implementation results; limitations and reasons for non-implementation or poor implementation of the planning;

- Responsibilities of agencies, organizations, and authorized individuals in organizing the implementation of the planning (including the responsibilities of the lead agency and the responsibilities of related agencies);

- The suitability of the planning with the strategy used as a basis for planning and with socio-economic conditions.

Additionally, this Decree also regulates the inspection contents for plan implementation in Vietnam  as follows:

- Plan implementation schedule;

- Results and progress in achieving the plan's objectives;

- Results and progress in meeting mandatory targets and organizational measures for plan implementation;

- Results and progress in implementing key projects of the plan;

- Violations and weaknesses in plan implementation;

- Plan implementation results; limitations and reasons for non-implementation or poor implementation of the plan;

- Responsibilities of agencies, organizations, and authorized individuals in performing the tasks of plan implementation (including the responsibilities of the lead agency and the responsibilities of related agencies);

- The suitability of the plan with the planning used as a basis for the plan and with socio-economic conditions.

Details can be found in Decree 99/2006/ND-CP which comes into force in Vietnam from October 15, 2006.
