Decree 35/2009/ND-CP stipulates inspectors and inspection collaborators of Natural Resources and Environment in Vietnam as follows:

Regarding Inspectors of Natural Resources and Environment in Vietnam

- Inspectors of Natural Resources and Environment in Vietnam are state officials appointed to the rank of inspector by the law to perform inspection tasks and other duties of Environmental Resource Inspection as assigned by the Chief Inspector.

- Inspectors are recruited, appointed, dismissed, issued inspector cards, and enjoy policies under the law.

- Apart from the general regulations on conditions and standards for Inspectors as stipulated in the Law on Inspection, Decree 100/2007/ND-CP, inspectors must also meet other conditions and standards suitable to the sector and field as prescribed by the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment.

- When conducting inspections, Inspectors of Natural Resources and Environment in Vietnam exercise their duties and powers as stipulated by the Law on Inspection and other tasks and powers under the law.

Regarding inspection collaborators of Natural Resources and Environment in Vietnam

- Inspection collaborators are individuals mobilized to perform inspection tasks at the request of Chief Inspectors at all levels or heads of competent state agencies to carry out inspection duties.

- Inspection collaborators must have good political qualities; a sense of responsibility, honesty, objectivity, and impartiality; and professional qualifications suitable for inspection tasks.

- Collaborators enjoy policies stipulated in Article 19 of Decree 100/2007/ND-CP.
