Effective date of complaint resolution decisions for administrative decisions and administrative actions as guided by the Ministry of Public Security in Circular 68/2013/TT-BCA is as follows:

- The initial complaint resolution decision takes legal effect after thirty days from the issuance date if the complainant does not file a second complaint.- The second complaint resolution decision takes legal effect after thirty days from the issuance date. For remote and difficult-to-reach areas, the period can be extended but not exceed forty-five days from the issuance date of the initial or second complaint resolution decision.- In case the complainant disagrees with the complaint resolution decision, they have the right to file an administrative lawsuit at the Court in accordance with the Administrative Litigation Law of 2010.- Complaint resolution decisions that take legal effect are immediately enforceable.
