Deadline for Declaration and Payment of Fees and Charges in the Field of Crop Production

On November 09, 2016, the Ministry of Finance promulgated Circular 207/2016/TT-BTC stipulating the rates, collection policies, remittance, management, and use of fees and charges in the fields of crop production and forestry seedlings.

According to the guidance in Circular 207/2016/TT-BTC, the declaration, payment of fees, and charges in the fields of crop production and forest plant varieties are carried out as follows:

- No later than the 5th day of each month, the fee-collecting organization must remit the fees collected from the previous month into the escrow fee account opened at the State Treasury.- The fee-collecting organization shall declare and pay the fees and charges collected monthly and settle annually in accordance with Clause 3, Article 19, Clause 2, Article 26 of Circular 156/2013/TT-BTC.

Organizations and individuals, when submitting an application requesting a competent state authority to protect the rights regarding plant varieties; inspection, sampling, testing, and quality certification in the field of crop production and forest plant varieties, must pay fees and charges.

Refer to the related regulations in Circular 207/2016/TT-BTC effective from January 01, 2017.
