According to the provisions of Article 3 Circular 12/2013/TT-BTNMT, geological and mineral data submitted by organizations and individuals include the following documents:

- Report on basic geological survey results on minerals, report on mineral exploration results (Geological report);- Dossiers for the development of strategies, planning; technical standards, norms, unit prices in basic geological surveys on minerals, mineral activities;- Dossiers of programs, projects, proposals, and important national projects on geology and minerals;- Dossiers for pre-licensing of mining rights;- Dossiers of national mineral resource reserve areas, areas with dispersed small-scale minerals; delineation of prohibited or temporarily prohibited areas for mineral activities; areas with hazardous minerals;- Results of statistics; inventory of mineral resource reserves nationwide.
Note, printed documents submitted must be original copies.
Organizations and individuals submitting geological and mineral data will be issued a "Certificate of submission of geological and mineral data". The certificate for organizations and individuals submitting geological reports is valuable for confirming the completion of tasks and is one of the conditions for transitioning to the next phase of mineral activities.
