Current Regulations on the Statistical Reporting Period of the Ministry of Home Affairs

On March 06, 2018, the Ministry of Home Affairs issued Circular 03/2018/TT-BNV stipulating the policies on statistical reporting for the Home Affairs sector.

The statistical reporting period is calculated according to the Gregorian calendar, including the following types:

- Annual statistical report: Calculated from the first day of the first month of the reporting period to the last day of the twelfth month of that reporting period.- Term statistical report: Calculated from the first day of the reporting term to the last day of that reporting term.- Other statistical reports: In cases where other statistical reports are needed, the governing authority requires written reports specifying the specific time, deadline, and criteria for the statistical report along with any other requirements to be submitted to the Minister of Home Affairs for approval.- Unscheduled statistical reports: Unscheduled statistical reports are conducted to assist the Minister of Home Affairs in collecting information beyond that which is gathered and compiled according to the periodic statistical reporting policies.
