Criteria for technological advances recognition in Vietnam

Circular No. 04/2018/TT-BNV was issued on May 03, 2018 by the Ministry of Home Affairs of Vietnam, which has specified criteria for technological advances recognition.

According to the Circular No. 04/2018/TT-BNV of the Ministry of Home Affairs of Vietnam, 04 criteria for technological advances recognition for the first time include:

- Shall be novel, creative, stable and highly competitive;

- Shall ensure their quality, reduce their impact on the environment and have the prospect of enlarging the manufacture.

Notably, criteria for technological advances similar to recognized technological advances must satisfy all requirements as prescribed above and must be more efficient at least 10% than the recognized technological advances.
